edaForum18: Evening of November 5 and morning of November 6 in Berlin
The edaForum18 took place as an exclusive event for our members and strategic partners on the morning of November 6, 2018 in Sofitel Berlin in Charlottenstraße near Gendarmenmarkt.
The edaForum18 started with an exclusive evening event on November 5, 2018 in the restaurant Brasserie am Gendarmenmarkt.
edaForum18 Programme:
A special highlight will be the panel discussion during the evening event on November 5, 2018. High-ranking representatives of Audi, Bosch, Cadence, Infineon, Microchip, Synopsys, Mentor/Siemens and the Fedaral Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) will discuss the topic "Innovations Provided by Market Leaders, Enabled by EDA". Together with current topics on microelectronics and EDA this offers exciting topics for discussion.
With "Hardware and Software for Machine Learning" and "Sensors and Communication Solutions for IoT Applications", the morning of November 6, 2018 will focus on topics that concentrate on the concrete implementation of breakthroughs in central technological innovation fields in applications and products. In order to enable the participants of the edaForum18 to efficiently attend a very suitable further event, edacentrum is again cooperating with the VDE and ZVEI associations, which will hold the 7th Microelectronics Symposium in the immediate vicinity in the afternoon of November 6:

Direkt im Anschluss an das edaForum18 findet das von VDE und ZVEI organisierte 8. Mikroelektronik-Symposium im Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften nahe dem Gendarmenmarkt statt, das auch den Dialog zwischen Politik und Industrie unterstützt. Das Programm des Mikroelektronik-Symposium 2018 steht bereits fest und folgt dem Motto „Sensoren - Sinne für die digitale Welt“
Directly following the edaForum18, the 8th German Microelectronics Symposium (symposium language will be German) organised by VDE and ZVEI will take place in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences near Gendarmenmarkt, which also supports the dialogue between politics and industry. The programm of the program of the Microelectronics Symposium 2018 is already fixed and follows the headline "Sensors - Senses for the digital world".
